Ensemble, nous cumulons plus de 140 ans d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience dans le domaine du d\u00e9veloppement et de la production de composants de mesure UV. Nous partageons la m\u00eame passion pour la conception de capteurs UV performants. Due to their unbeatable radiation hardness, extreme visible blindness, and low dark current, they should be used whenever possible. However, there are applications in the border area between UV radiation and visible light where SiC cannot be used due to a lack of sensitivity. In this case the extreme visible blindness and the low UVA sensitivity of SiC is a disadvantage. For these applications, we produce photodiodes based on InGaP. Two of these InGaP photodiodes can be used as replacements for the GaP photodiodes previously manufactured by EPIGAP, due to similar spectral responsivity. The \u00ab\u00a0SG04-InGaP-440\u00a0\u00bb series replaces the EPD 440 series. The \u00ab\u00a0SG04-InGaP-365\u00a0\u00bb series (this datasheet) replaces the EPD 365 series. Our InGaP photodiodes are available with active areas of 0.5 mm\u00b2 (this datasheet) and 5.9 mm\u00b2 and 12.0 mm\u00b2. In close cooperation with the Fraunhofer IISB team, sglux&rsquo; PhD student Felix Beier has developed a production-ready process for SiC APDs with a SACM device structure. The SiC APDs with diameters of 100 \u00b5m, 200 \u00b5m, 300 \u00b5m and 500 \u00b5m have a breakdown voltage of approximately V<sub>br<\/sub>=162.5 V and exhibit a gain m = 100 at 95% of the breakdown voltage V95%. The dark current at V<sub>95%<\/sub> is below 0.2 nA\/mm\u00b2. This means that SiC APDs have significantly better values than Si-based APDs and are also insensitive to visible radiation. Two schoolgirls from Adlershof had the challenge of designing and to build a complex LED circuit based on a 535nm LED. The picture shows that they succeeded brilliantly. Besides chemical treatments, sterilization of surfaces by using UVC radiation from Hg low pressure or pulsed Xenon sources is widespread in hospitals and medical facilities. This is realized with irradiation chambers for smaller parts, fixed lamp systems or mobile irradiance robots to sterilize complete hospital rooms. Especially the latter systems need the collaboration with a UV sensor measuring the germicidal radiation in certain points of a room to teach the systems and the user about the UVC distribution inside a treated room.
