This paper investigates the influence of high-intensity UV irradiation on the transmission behavior of these diffusers. Quartz-glass and micro-porous quartz-glass were investigated. The sensors were continuously monitored while irradiated by a 1kW medium pressure Hg lamp with a total UV irradiance of 1000mW\/cm\u00b2 for 800 hours.
